The interior boasts opulent design elements, including marble staircases, wood paneling, and decorative plasterwork, reflecting the civic pride of the era. The Town Hall serves as the administrative heart of Islington, housing the council chambers, offices, and various civic functions.

It is also a popular venue for weddings and events, thanks to its elegant ceremony rooms and historic charm. The grand Assembly Hall, with its impressive acoustics and capacity for up to 500 guests, is frequently used for concerts, conferences, and community events.
