About Pulteney Bridge:

Pulteney Bridge spans the River Avon in Bath, a picturesque example of Georgian architecture. Designed by Robert Adam and completed in 1774, it features a unique horseshoe shape lined with shops, reminiscent of the Ponte Vecchio in Florence. The bridge is adorned with classical motifs and has become an iconic landmark of the city. From its elegant stone arches, visitors can enjoy stunning views of the river and surrounding architecture, including Bath's famous crescents and the weir.

Pulteney Bridge is not only a functional crossing but also a cultural hub, with its boutiques, cafes, and galleries attracting both locals and tourists. It serves as a charming reminder of Bath's rich history and architectural heritage, offering a timeless link between the city's past and present.
