About The Peace Pagoda:

The Peace Pagoda in Battersea Park is a striking symbol of peace and tranquility, gifted to London by the Japanese Buddhist organization, Nipponzan Myohoji, in 1984. Situated on the banks of the River Thames, this stunning structure stands out with its traditional Japanese architectural design and serene presence.

The pagoda is adorned with golden statues of Buddha in various poses, each representing different stages of his life. It serves as a reminder of the universal desire for peace and harmony. The location within the lush greenery of Battersea Park adds to its serene atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for reflection and meditation.

The Peace Pagoda has become a focal point for peace-related activities and events, including annual ceremonies that promote global harmony and non-violence. Its tranquil setting and profound message continue to attract visitors seeking a moment of peace amidst the bustling city of London.
