About The Victoria Baths Manchester:

Victoria Baths in Manchester is a striking example of Edwardian architecture, boasting exquisite tiles, stained glass, and wrought-iron work. Originally opened in 1906, it served as a public swimming and bathing facility, catering to the local community for over 80 years. The building features three pools, Turkish baths, and stunning art deco elements.

Despite facing closure in the 1990s, passionate local efforts led to its preservation and eventual reopening as a heritage site. Today, Victoria Baths stands as a testament to Manchester's industrial past and community spirit. It hosts events, tours, and exhibitions, offering visitors a glimpse into the city's social history and architectural splendor.

Its restoration remains ongoing, fueled by the dedication of volunteers and supporters who recognise its significance as a cultural landmark.
